    Membership in the Fourth Degree

Membership in the 4th Degree is open to any Third degree member of the Knights of Columbus, who wishes to dedicate publicly his love of country.

The Requirements to become a candidate are the following: (1)At least 6 months membership in the Knights of Columbus; (2)That the said candidate be a third degree member of the Knights of Columbus in good standing with his council; (3)and the filling out and approval of a Form 4.

Exemplifications are held at the state level. Unlike the First, Second, and Third degrees, the Fourth Degree is held as a social event, with the uniform of the day being a black tuxedo, white shirt and black tie. The exemplification is usually followed by a dinner with various speakers, and dignitaries in attendance.
